DAVID RAZOWSKY

In his decades-long improv career, David has worked as an actor, teacher, director, and artistic director at The Second City. Steve Carell and Keegan-Michael Key have both called Razowsky a “fearless” improviser. David’s the author of the groundbreaking book, “A Subversive’s Guide to Improvisation, ” who’s performed with Carell, Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Rachel Dratch, and countless other improv legends. He’s been a consultant for Dreamworks, BBC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway, and a director at Amsterdam’s Boom Chicago Theatre. David also performed and taught at iO West and The Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He has been honored with an INNY Award for Best Improv Coach and is an adjunct faculty member in the California State University system. He has been a featured performer and lecturer at the Chicago Improv Festival, The San Francisco Improv Festival, the Vancouver Improv Festival, and The Kennedy Center. David’s podcast, ADD Comedy with Dave Razowsky received the 2015 INNY Award for Best Comedy Podcast and features interviews with some of the most respected actors, directors, and teachers working in comedy today.
