JULIE B. NICHOLS

Julie B. Nichols is a Chicago based composer, pianist, producer and music director who has toured the world playing venues including The Kennedy Center, The Chicago Symphony Center, The Ahmanson and Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. She has appeared in live shows playing with Phish and Live From Here with Chris Thile and Mike Elizondo. Her TV and movie scores have premiered at festivals including Discover Film Festival in London and Sundance and Slamdance in the states. Prior to her current role as Senior Composer at Squeak E Clean Studios, Julie was the Music Director of The Second City in Chicago for 10 years where she shared the stage with Jeff Tweedy, Paul Simon and Tom Hanks. She is the music director of the electrifying soul band Chicago Soul Spectacular and writes music for The Second City’s The Last Show Left On Earth streaming on Topic. Julie has composed music for many brands including Coke’s 2020 Superbowl Campaign, BMW, Nintendo, Campbells, Walmart and Spotify.
