TANNE VAN DER WAL

I started working with Boom Chicago as operator/actor in their escape room Escape Through Time and later on returned to work in their second escape room Escape Through the Movies (which was much bigger and contained several sets of stairs throughout, making it a fine workout when running multiple shifts at once). Working at Boom Chicago allowed me to fund my time abroad in Canada and London for my biomedical studies, for which I am now finishing a PhD in breast cancer research. I always enjoyed working at Boom Chicago, the funny issues that came up whilst working in an escape room (to name one: stoned tourists that did not feel the need to escape and crashed on the couch). I could not have wished for a more fun job on the side at that time!
